The Invitation

She walked these mountains in prayer.
Now you are called to do the same.

This pilgrimage is an invitation to walk deeply with me , to journey into the heart of devotion and the landscape that still holds Mary Magdalene’s presence.

Through forest and mountain, story and silence, we follow the path of remembrance, allowing each step to become a prayer and each breath a return.

The Journey

From the moment you arrive in Marseille, the pilgrimage begins deeply, reverently, step by step.

Each morning opens with a sacred altar practice: a gentle practice of breath, silence, and intention that attunes us to the rhythm of the day.

Day One - Arrival + Invocation
We begin in Marseille at Abbaye Saint Victor, one of the oldest Christian sanctuaries in France. Beneath the abbey, we descend into the crypt of the Black Madonna, invoking the feminine lineage of light that runs through this land. We then travel to Sainte Baume, arriving at our mountain inn for a welcome meal and opening circle.

Day Two - The Cave of Mary Magdalene
We walk in silence through the forest to Mary Magdalene’s Cave, a stone sanctuary where she is said to have spent her final years in prayer. Time for reflection, journaling, and rest follows, before an evening meal shared in candlelight.

Day Three - Relics + Resurrection
We journey to Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, home to the basilica that guards her relics and the Cave of Eggs, a symbol of rebirth and creation. Lunch in the village, followed by integration and rest at the inn.

Day Four - Ascent + Integration
We climb to the mountaintop chapel of Sainte Baume, offering prayers, writings, and blessings to complete the circle of descent and return. Afternoon closing circle and farewell dinner.

Day Five - Departure + Return
Breakfast and travel onward.

The Solo Pilgrimage (5 Days / 4 Nights)

For those called to journey alone, the solo pilgrimage offers a private, five-day path, walking the same sacred sites with additional time for rest, prayer, and direct guidance.

This expanded journey includes all four days of the group pilgrimage, plus an additional day at Saint-Michel-du-Var, a luminous painted chapel with a hidden crypt said to hold a lock of Mary Magdalene’s hair.

Here we pause in beauty and silence, reflecting on the feminine mysteries of embodiment and remembrance before the final ascent to the mountain-top chapel.
