The Invitation

She walked these mountains in prayer.
Now you are called to do the same.

This pilgrimage is an invitation to walk deeply with me , to journey into the heart of devotion and the landscape that still holds Mary Magdalene’s presence.

Through forest and mountain, story and silence, we follow the path of remembrance, allowing each step to become a prayer and each breath a return.

The Journey

From the moment you arrive in Marseille, the pilgrimage begins deeply, reverently, step by step.

Each morning opens with a sacred altar practice: a gentle practice of breath, silence, and intention that attunes us to the rhythm of the day.

Day One - Arrival + Invocation
We begin in Marseille at Abbaye Saint Victor, one of the oldest Christian sanctuaries in France. Beneath the abbey, we descend into the crypt of the Black Madonna, invoking the feminine lineage of light that runs through this land. We then travel to Sainte Baume, arriving at our mountain inn for a welcome meal and opening circle.

Day Two - The Cave of Mary Magdalene
We walk in silence through the forest to Mary Magdalene’s Cave, a stone sanctuary where she is said to have spent her final years in prayer. Time for reflection, journaling, and rest follows, before an evening meal shared in candlelight.

Day Three - Relics + Resurrection
We journey to Saint Maximin la Sainte Baume, home to the basilica that guards her relics, and into the Cave of Eggs, a symbol of rebirth and creation. We enjoy a terrace lunch, followed by integration and plenty of rest.

Day Four - Saint Michel du Var + Remembrance
We journey to Saint Michel du Var, a luminous painted chapel where a hidden crypt is said to preserve a lock of Mary Magdalene’s hair. We spend time in silence among the frescoes, reflecting on remembrance, beauty, and the sacred made visible before returning to Saint Baume.

Day Five - Ascent + Integration
We climb to the mountaintop chapel of Sainte Baume, offering prayers, writings, and blessings to complete the circle of descent and return.

Day Six - Departure + Return
Breakfast and travel onward.

The Solo Pilgrimage

For those who feel called to journey alone, the solo pilgrimage offers a private, five-day experience through the sacred landscapes of Provence. Walking at your own pace, we visit each of the pilgrimage sites together with spacious time for silence, prayer, conversation, and personal guidance.

With no group schedule to follow, the days unfold gently, allowing space for rest, reflection, and deep integration.

For those who wish to continue the pilgrimage, the journey may be extended with a Sacred Paris Soul Residency. This is a 4-day private residency experience in a sanctuary apartment in the center of Paris. Together, Provence and Paris become one continuous path, following Mary Magdalene from the mountain sanctuary to the hidden churches, relics, and sacred places of the city where her story continues to echo.

For the residency: choose self-guided integration time, lightly guided support or a fully guided extended experience in Paris. All residency details can be found HERE.
