A Sacred Journey Into the Heart of Mary

Step onto an ancient path. From the relics of Vézelay to the hidden chapels of Paris, from a night vigil at Sacré-Cœur to the labyrinth of Chartres, this pilgrimage is an immersion into the mystery of Mary Magdalene.

For seven days, we walk in her footsteps and her silence. We meet her in relics and in art, in the Black Madonnas of France, in water and anointing, in the spiral of the labyrinth. Each day carries a theme, each step a practice of devotion, memory, and presence.

This is a pilgrimage. You are invited to slow down, to listen, and to remember.

The Journey

Day 1 – Vézelay
Arrival and opening circle at the Basilica of Sainte Marie Madeleine. Prayer before relics and a candlelit ritual in the crypt.

Day 2 – Pilgrim’s Blessing
Dawn blessing at the pilgrim’s stone, return to Paris, and evening at Église de la Madeleine.

Day 3 – Magdalene in Art
Encounter Magdalene in the works of Donatello, Caravaggio, La Tour, and Gustave Moreau.

Day 4 – Churches of Magdalene & Mary
Pilgrimage through Saint Sulpice, Saint Denys du Saint-Sacrement, Saint Germain l’Auxerrois, and the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal. Evening all-night vigil at Sacré-Cœur.

Day 5 – Black Madonnas
Journey to Saint Denis and Picpus Cemetery, meeting the Black Madonnas of France.

Day 6 – Water & Anointing
A ritual walk gathering waters from Paris fountains, followed by a hammam ritual of anointing at the Grand Mosque of Paris.

Day 7 – Chartres
Silent walk on the labyrinth, descent into the crypt, prayer before the Black Madonna. Closing circle and farewell supper in Paris.
