A vintage rosary of deep green beads flecked with crimson, reminiscent of bloodstone, the ancient stone traditionally associated with the Passion of Christ.
The beads carry the colors of forest and sacrifice, earth and devotion. At its center rests a simple Marian medal, her profile turned quietly toward prayer. The reverse bears a flowering branch, a small symbol of life emerging through seasons of waiting.
The rosary shows evidence of a careful repair made during its devotional life. The crucifix appears to have been replaced at some point, preserving the object for continued use rather than allowing it to fall into disrepair. It is a detail that feels less like damage and more like testimony.
