A charming mid century French pilgrimage set consisting of a vintage rosary from Lourdes and a small devotional keepsake box honoring Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus.
The lid bears a richly detailed gilt portrait of Saint Thérèse holding her crucifix and roses, while the petite round box offers a safe place to tuck away a rosary, medal, relic, or other treasured object carried on pilgrimage.
Inside rests a vintage Souvenir de Lourdes rosary with warm brass findings, a beautifully aged crucifix, and vibrant coral red beads that have retained their remarkable color over the decades. The reverse of the crucifix is inscribed Souvenir de Lourdes, preserving its origin as a pilgrim’s devotional keepsake from one of Christianity’s most beloved Marian sanctuaries.
Together they form a beautiful little companion for prayer, travel, or a home altar, carrying the memory of both Lourdes and the Little Flower.
